UniGUI is a modification for Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos.

Installation
Requirements:
1. Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos version F14.6
2. Multimod

First place this zip file ( zzUniGUI.zip ) in your ./IWar2/mods directory. Next, open readme.txt and copy the key binding into your configs file. If you use a joystick, that file is ./IWar2/configs/default.ini but if you use the keyboard the file is ./IWar2/configs/keyboard_only.ini. When you start Edge of Chaos you must select UniGUI in the 'Extras' menu.

Using UniGUI
UniGUI provides a central GUI from which subscreens can branch out. To open UniGUI, hold down CTRL and ALT while in space and press U.

If nothing happens, then either you haven't installed the binding correctly or you don't have Multimod installed. You can download Multimod from IndependenceWar.com.

You must download and install all UniGUI subscreens seperately. Some are available at http://zazicle.port5.com/iw2. More subscreens can be easily added and a document is available explaining the method at the above website.

Important Notes
If you press U to undock manually UniGUI will be closed.

UniGUI will also quit automatically if a cut-scene plays or an external camera is activated while the screen is being displayed. The screen is controlled entirely using the mouse pointer - you cannot use joystick or keys to control it.
